À l’issue de ce workshop nous avons présenté une cinquantaine de création dans le cadre de notre première exposition collective Still Life 01 à la Villa 88 (Bordeaux) sous la banière de notre collectif, la Guilde des biffin·es à l’initiative de l’atelier Rēs. parcelle bordée de hauts murs en pierres. La construction s’y appuie et tire partie de ses avantages. Depuis la rue, le projet se fait retenu, presque banal, en suivant les morphologies construites du village et en employant des matériaux analogues comme la tuile traditionnelle de terre cuite ou l’enduit à la chaux. Dans la cour, derrière les hauts murs, discrètement visible par les passants, une large façade vitrée s’ouvre, la charpente en bois apparente s’affi rme. Par un jeu de contraste, l’acier souligne la composition. En s’adossant aux murs existants, cette petite habitation profite de ses atouts: sa capacité portante, son inertie et donc son déphasage thermique utile pendant les chaleurs ardentes.&nbsp;Pour profi ter au mieux des conditions climatiques des lieux et se prémunir des risques de crues, la construction se réhausse d’un mètre du mur existant et s’ouvre sur sa façade opposée. L’espace devient traversant pour se ventiler naturellement, capter le soleil et s’incliner vers les vents dominants. L’isolation des murs est réalisée en chauxchanvre projetée puis enduite en terre et paille de lin. L’aménagement intérieur est fait entièrement en châtaignier local provenant des Cévennes. Ces matériaux permettent une haute régulation hygrométrique par leur qualité perspirante et un bon déphasage thermique par leur inertie. La simplicité des matériaux tisse un récit sensible pour dialoguer avec la pierre, le&nbsp; contexte et les variations des saisons. <img width="3630" height="2941" width_o="3630" height_o="2941" cultive du blé ancien. Ce dernier souhaite non seulement transformer sa production en farine, mais aussi utiliser sa paille pour isoler ce local, et rendre ce lieu autonome en énergie. Les défis sont nombreux : ambition écologique et autonomie énergétique, matériaux biosourcés et une réflexion bioclimatique, tout en respectant un budget limité. La stratégie se veut efficace pour rendre possible ce projet: concevoir le projet à partir d’une charpente préfabriqué, bâtir un très grand toit pour couvrir tout les usages actuels et a venir. A ce jour l’été est passé, la paille a été collecté et mise en botte, le charpente attent son isolation avec patience. Chaque partie a eu une première vie, issu d'un processus de réemploi.&nbsp; Son bois, le chêne et le frêne, est sourcé à moins de 30 kilomètres de l'atelier, la quantité d’énergie nécessaire à sa transformation est optimisée et l’outil à main favorisé contre celui de la machine. Réutiliser la matière est à toutes les étapes un processus expérimental. Chaque pièce est unique, avec ses propres déformations dues aux efforts et aux sollicitations de sa première vie : il s'agissait d'une charpente, d'un cadre de porte, d'un plancher. Une fois transformé et libéré de son passé, un nouvel objet peut émerger. Sourcés à Epinay, à moins de 30 kilomètres du chantier, fenêtres de salons, cuisines, ou salles de bain de grands ensembles des années 70 vivent aujourd'hui un nouvel usage dans une ferme écologique. Cette terre connaît ici sa 3eme vie. L’emprise au sol réduite de la construction existante pousse à étendre l’habitation au-delà de ses limites afin de pouvoir habiter cette bergerie.&nbsp; La large toiture en bardeaux de bois se pose au-dessus des murs en pierre sèche pour offrir de nouveaux usages: hall d’entrée, coursive et terrasse couverte. Cette intervention mesurée permet une gestion bioclimatique de l’habitation en créant l’ombrage nécessaire à chaque saison.&nbsp; La pente de toit est inversée afin de rendre l’intégration du bâtiment cohérente avec le paysage construit et géographique: les maisons alentours sont exposées face à la pente, plein sud et ouverte sur la vallé.&nbsp; La toiture repose sur une ossature bois bâti à l’intérieur de la bâtisse existante. Celle-ci devient le support de l’isolation en terre-chanvre projetée.
